Directory Listing Details - Describe Yourself
I’m Jennie Angel, a rising country artist from the Hudson Valley, NY, blending classic country roots with a modern edge. My journey has been filled with milestones that confirmed this path is more than just a passion—it’s my purpose. I was honored to be one of only 20 artists chosen by Taste of Country to audition to sing the National Anthem for Luke Combs in Buffalo. More recently, I became a proud member of the Academy of Country Music, solidifying my commitment to a lifelong music career.
I front my high-energy band, Jennie Angel & the Outlaws, and together we’ve rocked stages up and down the East Coast, playing fairs, festivals, and events while sharing original music that resonates with real life and real emotion. Our live show is all about connection, power, and authenticity.
In 2023, I was nominated at the Josie Awards in Dollywood for Modern Country Female Rising Star of the Year and received a songwriting achievement nomination for my single “Move On.” I’ve since released several new singles including “Leaving,” “Too Good for It,” and “Girl Next Door,” all available on streaming platforms and playing on FM radio across the country—including stations like Froggy 100.3 (Lake George, NY) and The Wolfe. My track “No One to Blame,” released in November, tells a haunting story that’s captivated listeners worldwide.
Born in Augusta, Georgia, I was raised on a steady diet of Christian and country music, thanks to my parents. That influence runs deep in my songwriting today, which leans toward the storytelling and soul of classic country. I’ve been writing songs since I was 13, and music has always been my language—whether playing flute, tuba, piano, or guitar in high school, or singing at open mics during college.
Now, with fans rallying behind me and strangers turning into supporters, I’m all-in. This is just the beginning, and I can’t wait to see where the music takes me next.
