Texas Country Music Association, Inc.
The Texas Country Music Association is the only trade organization for the Texas Country Music Industry. Developed in the early 1990’s conceptually, and officially in 2010, the Texas Country Music Association has grown in numbers and status consistently and is still growing. As the industry and technology changes, TCMA is committed to stay on top of it all and help members maneuver through easily.
What we do for TCMA Members and the Texas Country Music Industry:
1. One-on-One Consulting (TCMA Members may schedule consultation conversations with TCMA President Linda Wilson to discuss the members’ activities, projects and needs and get direction, education where needed and to create connections within the industry.)
2. Texas Country Music Awards (the most highly recognized and honored awards program for Texas music and the biggest event of its kind in the Texas Country Music industry, hosted at Billy Bob’s Texas, where we come together to celebrate it all and award the artists, musicians, venues, radio stations, songwriters, showcase newcomers and honor established artists and industry stakeholders.)
3. Texas Country Music Weekend (a weekend of live Texas Country Music leading up to the Texas Country Music Awards, in partnership with the Fort Worth Stockyards, including the Texas Country Showcase of TCMA Member acoustic performances, the Texas Country Music Showdown 8 band competition with amazing prizes for the Grand Champion which is announced at the Texas Country Music Awards, along with 1st and 2nd runners up. Texas Country Music Weekend brings over 150,000+ visitors to the Stockyards each year.)
4. Texas Country Music Industry Awards (an annual awards event where those who work so hard alongside the artists to make the music the best in the world. Held every Summer, the Texas Country Music Industry Awards nominations and voting are done by only TCMA Members or verifiable Texas Country Music industry stakeholders, all of whom are peers.
5. TCMA Annual Songwriter Contest (for Country and Christian Country songwriters, top 10 in each category are honored at the annual Texas Country Music Awards and winners perform during the pre-show.)
6. Texas Country Network (our online programmed broadcast network for music videos and other programming related to Texas Country Music and the Texas Country lifestyle found at texascountrynetwork.com, ROKU, FireTV and AppleTV.
7. Texas Country Network ROKU Channel (an on-demand service with over 27 million potential worldwide ROKU subscribers and 20,000+ channel viewers for Texas Country Network.)
8. Texas Country OnScene TV Series (airs on Texas Country Network, Texas Country Network ROKU Channel and TexasCountryMusicTelevision.com, where a location is profiled and two TCMA Members are showcased. This was paused in 2020 due to COVID but will be reestablished.)
9. Texas Country Music Television (an online television channel that streams YouTube music videos 24/7) texascountrymusictelevision.com
10. TCMA’s Best Texas Country Picks Compilation CD Series (a compilation of TCMA Member artist’s singles that is distributed as a project on all streaming outlets with physical CD’s to the artists, and distributed to radio through TCMA’s Radio Distribution service, American Airplay at www.americanairplay.com.) As of Fall 2026, 10 Volumes have been developed and distributed on Texas Country Records.
11. Texas Country Music Chart (the only Texas based digitally monitored airplay chart using the most accurate and high-tech fingerprinting and monitoring platform available to monitor actual airplay on radio stations who have live streams, both terrestrial and internet) texascountrymusicchart.com
12. Texas Country Chart Enhanced (our “enhanced” chart reports all airplay on the radio stations monitored also by the Texas Country Music Chart. The data provider for Texas Country Chart Enhanced is the same one that monitors airplay for BMI, SESAC and other Professional rights organizations. Radio Analytics are available to subscribers to track airplay on songs on over 9000+ radio stations worldwide.)
13. American Airplay (our radio distribution service with a two-fold purpose: 1) to help radio stations promote their live streams worldwide; and, 2) to effectively distribute and deliver new single releases to radio program directors for possible airplay both in the Texas Country market and the National and International country music scenes. www.americanairplay.com)
14. Texas Music Marketing (a marketing system created to assist with new music promotion to radio that includes consistent communication with radio program directors, options for graphic design for EPK’s, single and album covers and other graphics, new single radio distribution, scheduling radio tours and much more.
15. Texas Country Music Magazine (digital online magazine to showcase and highlight TCMA Members who are artists, songwriters, musicians, media, venues, festival and event promoters, recording studios, radio promoters, booking agents, producers and management as well as other businesses who touch the industry.)
16. Texas Country Outfitters & Christian Country Outfitters (our own merchandise shop for t-shirts, koozies, caps, and other items. www.texascountryoutfitters.com
17. Texas Country Music Association Artist Scholarships (an award presented to artists who have the need for an additional boost in recording, presented at the annual Texas Country Music Awards, and includes a package that provides for recording one single along with radio distribution, radio promotion and other related services as donated by sponsors)
18. Provide opportunities for TCMA members only to participate in TCMA events (whether our own or ones we sponsor) around the state,
19. Provide connections and networking among TCMA Members for all needed resources such as recording and production, videography, promotions, booking, management, promotions, public relations and more.
20. Create events and platforms that increase member’s following and fan base through exposure, and reward fans for being fans by giving them opportunities to hear and see your music, events, products and services.
21. Christian Music (TCMA has supported, marketed and promoted the Christian Music industry since its inception. This is for artists, songwriters, churches, media and businesses involved in full or in part in the Christian Music genre, the development of Christian Music Association and all services and resources similar to what we do for Texas Country.

What TCMA Members do for us and each other:
1. Help us make all the above possible through very small annual membership fee. We cannot do it without you and your support, so artists, songwriters, musicians, venues, media, fans and businesses who touch the industry coming together in a small way help TCMA do what we do for all of you in a BIG way.
2. Assist in bringing awareness to TCMA and its projects and programs, grow the membership and promote what we do to everyone involved in the industry.
3. Help promote and support each other through all the TCMA projects and through networking and communicating as well as providing services and resources for one another.
