FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Texas Country Music Magazine Appoints Reid Kohls as Editor
CARTHAGE, TEXAS (June 4, 2024) – The Texas Country Music Magazine, powered by the Texas Country Music Association announced today that they have assigned Reid Kohls Editor effective immediately. TCMA President Linda Wilson states, “I’m excited that Reid Kohls has taken on the title and responsibilities of Editor at Texas Country Music Magazine. Reid will be heading up all operations for the magazine, including artist and industry-related interviews, content creation, photography, advertising, sponsorships, event coverage, and more. We’re sure with her experience in the Texas Country Music industry she will advance TCMM to a whole new level and beyond.” Reid Kohls’ experience includes artist and venue marketing, show photography, booking, show promotion, sponsorship sales, and content creation for musicians and venues in the New Braunfels and Gruene, Texas music scenes, along with an internship with Texas Music Pickers in 2019 while at Texas A&M. “The Texas Music scene has been a huge part of my life over the past 10 years, and I am so excited for the opportunity to work with the Texas Country Music Magazine and the rest of the Texas Country Music Association! Reid will work closely with other TCMA-related entities such as the Texas Country Network, Texas Country Music Chart, Texas Songwriter Association, and all other projects that bring the Texas Country Music industry together. Currently, Texas Country Music Magazine is an online digital format at www.texascountrymusicmagazine.comthat features TCMA Members, new music, and events. The vision, however, according to Linda Wilson, is to create a print version in the near future that can be distributed through live music venues, advertiser locations, and other high-traffic establishments. “Believe it or not, print media is still a great way to get pass-a-long exposure for not only the advertisers but for the artists, musicians, radio stations, venues, and other industry-related businesses and events that are featured.” To find out more about Texas Country Music Magazine and to subscribe to e-blasts or submit contributing articles for insertion consideration, and to learn about advertising, visit www.texascountrymusicmagazine.comor email us at editor@texascountrymusicmagazine.com.
