Sunday November 12th at Noon, the Stockyards hosts a Christian Country Concert with the 2022 Christian Country Songwriter of the Year, Jesse Watson and the Lone Star Cowboy Church Worship Team. They’ll be joined by Pastor Randy Weaver leading a devotional.  Following that, the doors open at Billy Bob’s Texas for the Texas Country Music Awards at 2pm.

For the first time ever, the Texas Country Music Awards has a theme! The Texas Country Music Association has declared PEARL SNAPS as the inaugural theme, which honors the company responsible for creating the Original Pearl Snap Polo of Texas, Iron Oak Apparel Co.

TCMA President Linda Wilson says, “We thought it would be fun to have a theme this year and decided to do something different.  We came up with the Pearl Snap theme in talking to one of our sponsors, Iron Oak Apparel Company.”  She goes on, “Pearls are a symbol of wisdom, enlightenment, innocence, serenity, protection, and longevity.  Pearls are associated with good luck and being blessed.  We thought it was a perfect symbol for this year’s Awards show and thanks to Iron Oak Apparel Company, we are able to relay that message to the industry and all who hear it.”

Iron Oak Apparel Co.was founded by Marc Novick, Keith Kruse, and Tanner Carson, along with the support of Managing Partner, Beau Daniels. The Texas apparel brand offers a selection of Pearl Snap polos fit for any occasion; in designs you’ve never seen. Since launching in November 2020, they’ve found tremendous success offering Pearl Snaps for men, and plans are in the works for a children and women’s line, too.

“We’re honored to be a part of such a rich tradition celebrating Texas Country Music,” shared the Iron Oak Founders. “We grew up idolizing Texas Country musicians and we played ourselves, so it really is a dream come true, and special, to be invited to, and to sponsor this year’s awards. We like to think Iron Oak polos stand for many things, and a multitude of occasions. But on this occasion, they’re a tribute to the Texas Country music fans and the musicians who shape its legacy. We are grateful to partner with the TCMA and these artists.”
