Singer/songwriter, Cory Morrow, was born and raised in Houston, Texas. Cory began learning to play guitar when he was 15 on an instrument his stepfather won in a coin toss in a Mexican border town. Inspired by Texas singer/songwriters such as Ray Wylie Hubbard and Robert Earl Keen, Morrow began writing his own songs while studying at Texas Tech University, developing his own rootsy and personal style.
After relocating to Austin in 1993, Morrow released his first EP called Texas Time Travelin’. Since that first EP release, Cory has become a legend in the Lone Star State, producing multiple self-released albums and playing an endless string of shows across the state.
Today, Morrow is a devoted family man. He and his wife, Sherry, keep busy raising their five children: Bear, Waylon, Worth and Wesley, and Daisey Diane.
