Jay Eric is lead vocal for the popular San Antonio are band Rumor Town (formally Blieders Creek Band).
Jay's bandmates include his brother Matt Pfannstiel on guitar, his high school bandmate Bruce Schwarz on bass, drummer John Thiem and , when opportunity presents itself, George Strait's steel guitarist Mike Daily.
Jay Eric and Rumor Town have had a longstanding presence in the Texas festival, rodeo and honky-tonk scenes, headlining as well as sharing the stage with just about every Texas dancehall star you can name including George Strait, Restless Heart, Cory Morrow, Kevin Fowler, Eddie Raven, Reba McEntire, Lee Greenwood, Exile and Conway Twitty.
Jay and the band have released 8 songs to radio with their 9th single, "Wanted Woman", out as of early 2023. They're keeping Country music alive Teas-style and believe the best is yet to come.
